Mounting Locations

How to mount your transponder. Preferred Mounting position is at least 1 1/2" from the top edge of windshield in center behind mirror. Alternate Mounting Position is to the lower left or right side of the windshield. 1 1/2" from side of windshield and 1 1/2" from bottom of windshield

 

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Clean Interior Windshield

    Clean and dry the inner surface of the windshield where the transponder will be placed.

  2. Carefully Peel the Backing

    Remove plastic tape from back of mounting strips on transponder.

  3. Placing the Transponder

    Position transponder in one of the positions illustrated above.

  4. Press Firmly

    Press transponder firmly against glass.

Metalized Windshields
If you have a vehicle with a metalized windshield listed on your account, contact our Customer Service Call Center at (949) 727-4800 for information on the transponder best suited for your needs.

Motorcycles
Keep the transponder in a secure location (like a pouch or pocket) and make sure the license plate number is listed on your account.
