CHIEF OF STAFF
The Transportation Corridor Agencies (TCA), a public agency formed to plan, design, finance, construct and operate 67 miles of toll roads in Orange County, is seeking a full-time Chief of Staff, reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The Chief of Staff will provide complex analytical and project management support to the CEO on various programs and activities. In addition, the Chief of Staff will assist the CEO in responding to Board of Directors’ inquiries, legislative and community requests; direct the work of staff and outside contractors on special projects; and serve as a liaison for interdepartmental programs.
The Chief of Staff will provide detailed and complex analyses; recommend modifications to existing policies or programs as appropriate; independently prepare reports and recommendations to the Boards of Directors, committees and other management staff; negotiate and resolve sensitive issues; interact on behalf of the TCA with outside agencies and organizations; review contracts and develop and administer a budget.
The successful candidate must have the ability to analyze complex financial, technical and administrative issues, consider alternatives and adopt effective policies and courses of action. Strong negotiation skills, the ability to exercise sound independent judgment, and sensitivity to political issues is required. Superior oral and written communication skills and the ability to effectively represent the organization with Board Members, staff, contractors, regulatory bodies and other public and private representatives is essential. A bachelor’s degree in business administration, public administration or a closely related field is required, along with eight years of directly related professional and relevant managerial or administrative experience.

ASSOCIATE GRAPHICS DESIGNER
The Transportation Corridor Agencies, a public agency operating tollways in Orange County, is looking for an experienced associate graphic arts designer to support the graphic designer/webmaster in meeting the Agencies’ graphics, printing, and presentation needs.
Required is a thorough knowledge of graphic design principles and methods for both electronic and traditional production using Illustrator, In Design, Photoshop, Dreamweaver and all Microsoft Office software. Salary commensurate with experience.
A bachelor’s degree majoring in graphic design or a closely related field and approximately two to three years experience is also required.
Salary Range: $55,047 - $79,818

The Transportation Corridor Agencies (TCA) was formed in 1986 to plan, design, finance, construct and operate 67 miles of toll ways in Orange County. As a public entity governed by the Agencies’ boards of directors which consist of elected officials from Orange County and member cities, TCA is a model and trendsetter in the area of transportation.
The TCA is inviting applications for the position of executive assistant to the chief executive officer (CEO).
This position requires a high-level of proficiency and professionalism in secretarial and administrative skills. The successful candidate should be able to work independently to plan, organize, and coordinate a heavy workload with minimal direction in a fast-paced work environment. This key administrative support position requires highly effective interpersonal and communication skills exercising tact, sound judgment and discretion in liaison with board members, executive-team members, administrative assistants, and outside organizations.
An associate’s degree or formal training in the secretarial or administrative field, plus a minimum of six years experience providing recent support to a high-level executive is required. Excellent communication skills, computer skills, dictation skills at a minimum of 100 words per minute preferred, and a thorough knowledge of English usage, grammar, spelling and punctuation is also required.
Salary Range: $50,043 - $72,562

SENIOR ENVIRONMENTAL ANALYST
The Transportation Corridor Agencies (TCA), a public agency formed to plan, design, finance, construct and operate toll roads in Orange County, is looking for a highly motivated, experienced environmental planning professional with a focus on transportation projects.
The ideal candidate should have excellent verbal and written communications skills and enjoy working with a multi-discipline team of dedicated professionals to manage all phases of environmental planning and review. Required are knowledge of state and federal laws and regulations governing the submittal and approval of EIR/EIS for large-scale transportation projects and a workable knowledge of mitigation measures.
This professional will interface directly with consultants, public officials, and resource agencies on specific complex environmental projects including permitting and biological habitat issues. Familiarity with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and other regulatory compliance statutes is required.
Required is a bachelor’s degree in environmental planning and five (5) years’ experience or master’s degree and three (3) years’ experience in city and/or regional environmental and transportation planning positions.
Salary Range $58,504 - $84,831
