If you receive a text and are unsure, The Toll Roads customers can verify valid text notifications by logging into their account. Can TCA put a hold on my California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) vehicle registration?
The Transportation Corridor Agencies (TCA) have an agreement with the California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) to receive license plate information and authorize vehicle registration holds. TCA's authority stems from 1996 California state laws (the Streets and Highways Code and California Vehicle Code).
